He is an excellent defender, one on one he is so strong, quick and powerful that people can’t get round him and when they do on the odd occasion , his pace means he can recover and get tackles and blocks in. Going forward from LB he’s not very impressive but he’s a cb and given the choice I’d rather have a solid fullback anyway.

What I like about this lad is he has a bit of honest endeavour about him - and no arrogance. Mason Holgate could learn a thing or two from this fella. He's fully committed but has no airs and graces, no self-regard. Just gets on with it whole-heartedly.
