It's quite funny to watch attackers pull out of challenging for the ball on the sprint when they see this guy is barreling down on them. They just have no chance to beat him to the ball. His acceleration has to be close to world class as it looks like he gets shot out of a rocket when he kicks it into top gear.

What is great about him is he's so controlled in his actions. Most players when they're sprinting at someone either get turned easily or just smash through a player and give away a freekick. He's always in control of himself and the situation.

As good as Holgate can be, that's something he doesn't do as we seen today with the amount of silly freekicks he gave away.

Been a great start for him considering he's just moved to a new club and is beening played in different positions. You can tell the rest of the players have really taken to him as well. Iwobi kicking him up the arse too after the second goal made me laugh.
