Holgate really isn't solid enough. Teams target our right side, as Coleman is slower these days and never did block crosses, and Holgate is too casual and has a mistake in him.

To be fair though they have to target somewhere and they’re not gonna get past Godfrey and they’re not gonna win many aerial battles with Mina & Keane. Element of deduction on where to attack.

...to be fair, he has to now leapfrog a number of players ahead of him in the queue. Not sure how many CBs will make the squad, but Maguire is a definite, Stones is playing very well and Southgate seems to like Mings and the lad at Wolves, not to mention Keane.

The daft thing is, Holgate was much shorter in the betting not so long ago.

Teams also target LB where Digne gets forward, and having pace in the centre backs gives some protection. However I think Holgate at the moment is a far better option then Coleman and as stated in my earlier post I like what Godfrey brings at CB. New RB in the summer is a must.

It honestly looks like he's not entirely sure of the throw in rule and just chances his arm at it.

Turns out he can whip a decent cross in though. Definitely wasn't expecting that.
