Yep watched it and thought it was decent what he was saying in a way -The full thing if any want to watch
England's full-back options: Godfrey
Jamie Carragher analyses Ben Godfrey's defensive positioning against Manchester United, amid growing talk that he could be a possibility for the national team in the summer.www.skysports.com
It was a valid point by Carra. He probably did stick by Cavani in the build up for that goal.
We could put that down to playing in a few different positions in the past few weeks, probably wanted to stay a close distance to Keane.
Perfectly good point but does Tom Davies need to be that deep? I know he's moved there for stopping the cross but United only have two players in the box and if he moves towards more into Rashford's zone then it might not happen.Yep watched it and thought it was decent what he was saying in a way -The full thing if any want to watch

His versatility CB-LB-RB would be a major asset in a tournamentEngland missing a trick of they dont take him to Euros imho.
Wonder when they'll start telling us he has to go to a "big"clublol

I think I can say with near certainty that Arsenal ,Spurs and the scum will not be spending big money in the summer due to the financial fallout of the pandemicI'm hopeful that those days are gone. With Carlo here and Moshiri's financial clout, I'm not sure we can be picked off that easily anymore. I think we're making progress in our quest to crash the top six. Arsenal are in decline, Spurs are hardly on the up, and really only four clubs are now obviously more attractive (City, United, Liverpool, and Chelsea). If any of them come knocking, they'd still have to stump up huge money for most of our better players. No, I think we're slowly being sublimated into a new top six. There won't be many higher rungs on the ladder if Carlo is here for the long haul...
Foden will get it or that Plonker TrentAt the Dixies maybe, he won’t even be inconsideration for the Prem awards.
That not to say he shouldn’t be, he just won’t be. It will go to someone we’ve hardly heard of who has amassed about 180mins for one of Sky Darlings.
The biggest and the best as the great man Labby saidHe's already at one.
Needs must thoughI agree Eggs Godfrey's pace allows the back four to push five yards further forward as he can recover in behind. This then squeezes the midfield closer to DCL giving him more support.
Putting him at RB you lose his ability to stop any balls in behind.
I feel that the recovery pace in the centre back position is a better attribute, Godfrey's tenacity and ability to cut out balls behind the back four works better for the team as we're less flat footed and allows him to break into midfield with the ball. Holgate is solid enough at RB until a new option arrives summertime.Needs must though
When we get a Digne style RB and a proper sitting no 6 (Hopefully Gbamin ) then I agree its Godfrey and one other ,Mina would be my choice for his height and hunger
4 OR 5 years from now Godfrey /Branthwaite (if his progression continues ) could be our Stam /Ferdinand axis of perfection at CB for a good few years
