....I have no idea why folk want to play our most effective CB at full back.

Feel like a broken record here, but it’s a matter of Godfrey and AN Other as CBs.
I understand your point, althoughI haven'tseen enoughof Godfrey to say he's definitely better than keane atm, but I'm looking at what's our best back 4 overall. For me it may well be Godfrey, mina, keane, digne

...it’s not so much about who’s the better (although I’m clear in my mind on that), it’s about Godfrey bringing pace, power and aggression that Keane and Mina lack. When the opposing are in behind our defence we have no power of recovery, but when Godfrey plays the difference is obvious.

This isn’t about ‘who’s the best’, Godfrey has to play because of the ‘type’ of player he is. Partnership, tactic, strategy, blend.

I think he has a stability and intelligent play that Mina and Keane sometimes lack when you see a bit of the 'Joe Yobo' panic element creep into their play occasionally. He deals with things smartly and effectively. When you factor in his strength and athleticism, he will be a pivotal player at centre back with these attributes rather than being confined to full back. I like the way hes quickly slotted in with the lads too...excellent team spirit and possible future skipper.

Came straight in and has embarrassed some of those like sigurdsson and iwobi with his fight and hunger.

He then went on to say he was positional at fault for both goals and its something he'll need to look at.

It was 1 minute of praise and 5 minutes of saying he was positionally at fault.
Yep watched it and thought it was decent what he was saying in a way -The full thing if any want to watch

I think he's a bitter spit gobbing bellend who just didn't want to say anything positive about Everton for longer than 20 seconds lol
