Can he play rb?

He played there for a couple of games for us. Came on against Liverpool and played there and started there against Southampton where he didn’t have the best of games, that said he didn’t have much protection and that game nobody had a great game.

....I have no idea why folk want to play our most effective CB at full back.

Feel like a broken record here, but it’s a matter of Godf and AN Other as CBs.
Because we don't have a decent right back. Godfrey can play anywhere across the back 4. Also we lose presence in the air when we lose Keane or Mina. No coincidence that we conceded from a set piece last night when Mina wasn't there. I agree that when we have more players in, especially a new right back, Godfrey can play centre half.

Know where you're coming from Eggs, but we've got more of a problem at RB - Coleman is done and mason doesn't look right there.

Yezza and Mick are fine in the middle so put the god at RB - problem solved.

I agree Eggs Godfrey's pace allows the back four to push five yards further forward as he can recover in behind. This then squeezes the midfield closer to DCL giving him more support.
Putting him at RB you lose his ability to stop any balls in behind.
