Could have always been with a view to shifting Mina or even Holgate being able to cover for Allan.

Branthwaite way too inexperienced for the first XI and Mina isn’t trusted by Carlo.

When fit, Holgate is one of the 3 CB’s on rotation.

I think Carlo doesn’t mind Mina. Last season it was Holgate plus another for a long period. It was only when Mason got injured that Keane started playing every week.
