He mentors Holgate, Godfrey and Keane so maybe they should get rid of him

Unfortunately, it's looks as though he's just a very expensive utility player.

Not ideal at a time where every transfer is coming under heavy scrutiny, but it's still handy that he can slot in on either side. He'd be a last resort in the middle, though.

If you can't win headers you can't play centre half in this league. Either he improves aerially, or he will become a handy utility player and no more. That's where we are at.

Not convinced with him at CB, he needs to learn how to defend high balls, he's crap in the air, Pickford is crap on high balls, not a good mix. Keane can head a ball but the rest of his game is shocking and Holgate can't win headers either.

We need a new defence.

Correct. He was overhyped and the mistakes were largely ignored because he liked a tackle.

I dont think he is to be honest. Certainly over hyped on here.
25m looks ridiculous.
Not given up. But he needs to up so many aspects of his game.
Just another average defender at Everton.
