I think for Godfrey he’s been doing whatever Holgate has been doing.

Had an excellent first season, and some real signs of progress, then proceeded to think he’s made it, and looks utterly uninterested.

Mistakes a guarantee more or less for him nowadays. Needs to get his head clear for Monday because he was a nightmare yesterday.

It was one thing starting him, but leaving him on for a full game when he was being absolutely destroyed is inexcusable. I m really struggling to think of a worse individual performance. Neville v Wigan in that cup game? I think Godfrey was even worse,

100% last night was the single most worst performance by an Everton player I've had the misfortune to see.

We can't play him Monday.

To be fair to Godfrey, COVID had a significant impact on his body, which was followed up by the leg break. Regardless of what people say, that’ll set you back.

Nevertheless, his frailties are there for everyone to see and sticking him at right back simply highlights them further, so Monday should be a no no.

Frustration. Everton do that to you. Exhausting club to follow.
But not everybody here got Lampard so wrong. Plenty called him out for what he was. They too were exhausted and frustrated. But they were aggressively shouted down. Just as Bill's critics were - while his minions happy-clapped the Jumbotron.

Na I think in Godfrey's case the injuries/long Covid thing terminally halted his progress.

Seems to happen to loads of the younger players at Everton who, otherwise, start off promising. Does my head in.

Mate i think many just buried their head in the sand and defended him and the situation of yet another manager here. I wouldnt look to much into it.

Absolutely. I'm just keeping in mind those, on this board, whose judgement can be trusted. For future reference, like.

Was on his attitude last night has been out of form, but just stops. Dont want him near the team now that defending was pathetic from him would be another i would sell.
