Bottom line is hes just not good enough. We've had players in the past who have slotted in and done jobs in various positions. I can remember alan harper long time ago doing it. Pascal gross slots in in various positions for brighton right now and does it well.

Very early on i thought hold on. He cant head a ball. Thats an issue straight away for a defender. Then it was his concentration. He's a yard slow up top to movement. Then technical ability. I still wake up in a cold sweat at the clearence at Burnley.

Likeable lad. I think he has passion to do well. But then so do all those sitting in the gwladys st.

Abysmal waste of 25m. Take a bow marcel brands.

Yeah I don’t disagree. Obviously some players are genuine utility players and some aren’t - he evidently isn’t. He does his best wherever we stick him in but yeah ultimately he just isn’t that good.
 
I think there was a player there, but bad injuries and covid, plus getting lobbed in all over the pitch have finished him and his conference.

Still better than Holgate, but he can’t play at rb again.
 

I think he was rushed back too early. He needs a pre-season, desperately.

I'm not going to pretend that he has played well, last night he was easily our worst player, but the manager has a duty of care and is failing him. I remember Davies putting a shift in at right back a couple seasons ago.

He was woeful at Old Trafford,they targeted him, apparently he was "ill",sick of hearing the excuses for these overpaid, underperforming wasters now.

I would kill for a couple of Alan Harpers right now. Consumate pro who could do a job anywhere.
