Recall him making big surging runs from the back and had good recovery. Don’t see that now.
Thought he had plenty room to improve but as with a lot of players who come here, seems to have regressed over past few years.

He's actually worse this season than he was before. I find it pretty baffling he has not been made available for sale because we massively need to upgrade in defence.

He didn't need an "out ball" as he was under no pressure. Give it to someone who isn't afraid of taking responsibility instead of hoofing it as far away as possible as if its an atomic bomb.

Unfortunately we have too many players who treat the ball as a hot potato when composure is required. The players who aren't great on the ball also go hiding making it more difficult for anyone who does have a bit of composure to play.

Ship him off to the championship and he’d struggle just like Holgate. Fleeced a living from us, sell and put towards a Branthwaite contract - a young player who actually looks like he could be a centre back.
