Arteta isnt for sale, hes our most creative player, judge him on his best, not his worst, cos hes still the same player and the old Arteta will be back soon.
You'd have to be very very naive to believe that. Judge him on his best? That kind of flawless logic would see us picking up the likes of Hargreaves, Kanu and getting Beagrie back from the masters team.
So you wanna swop our best player of the last 5 years or so, in exchange for an injury prone way past it midget and some Danish bloke with a massive chip on his shoulder who cant even kick a ball.
Interesting lad, very interesting.
Arteta out and Bendtner in represents a good investment on our part. For a start, Arteta hasn't been his consistent best for about 18 months. Secondly, at the end of this season he'll be 30. His current market value is about £10m tops. Bendtner is 23, he's only going to get better. He's got a decent strike record when he's been given a run of games, the trouble is that at Arsenal he's mainly been used as an impact player.
I'm with RFUS on this one. I don't see how you can be unhappy with bringing Bendtner in when you consider that our midfield is pretty crowded as it is, and our strike force is one of the worst in the league and quite possibly the worst one we've had under Moyes.
Bendtner is an experienced Premier League player at 23, he has shown glimpses of immense talent and to be honest he's got to be doing something right in training for Wenger to stick with him for so long. I rate him, and given the opportunities at a club like Everton, he could flourish.
In terms of replacing Arteta, we have Barkley making an impact and in truth, Miki's set pieces have been woeful for a good while. I'd be satisfied, in fact i'd be made up with Bendtner and Traore for Arteta.
