I would play Gomes Baningime Davies in a 3 with Richarlison DCL Gordon up top. Baningime can do all the dirty defensive jobs and allow the other 2 try and feed the front 3. If if doesn't work switch back to 4-4-2 with Kean or Walcott coming on for Davies. I would also start with Sidibe and Baines as the full backs as there is lots of games coming and no point in risking injuries by over loading players.

Why hasn’t he played? He was absolutely fantastic in that game all that time ago. I can’t remember who it was against but he was really good and showed loads of promise.

Carlo needs to stop persisting with the same useless carthorses and give promising young talent a go.
