Revisionist nonsense, but you do whatever you need to, if it makes you feel better after backing the fraud to the hilt.
Not revisionist at all, not sure how much you know about the finances in the modern game, but I can assure you a budget of 1.8m for squad strengthening isn't too appealing.
Thankfully though it was spent well from an experienced hand.

C'mon now, el gordo de madrid has recently been making out he was given "an ambitious project", that his own early success created the conditions for his downfall, and that it is because he's an ex-red which made things hard for him. lol, that last one didn't cross yer mind before Tubby?

You can't claim that line anymore.

O you mean Moshiri just lied too him? Wouldn't suprise me actually, terrible owner who has damaged us.
As for his early season success, you mean the period when he did better then we are now?

Well no, he's recently stayed he was given an ambitious project. His own words which suggests he was happy with the brief.

I have a feeling this will be interesting to revisit around the equivalent point in the season where he was sacked.

You're being disingenuous too - it wasn't the good start that undid him. It was the fact it fell apart so catastrophically so quickly.
