Jokes aside I didn’t like the man I backed him as Everton manager like I do with every manager. he wasn’t backed by the board and he should have been. He also shouldn’t have replaced James with rondon but that’s a matter of opinion. He should have been giving more the summer he came in to at least give him a fighting chance.

This all doesn’t change the fact that he was right to be sacked when he was. So I don’t get the love in some have for him still. The board failed him just like it failed Carlo when he was top of the league in January. just like it failed Lampard the start of this season. Some say he never had a chance because who he was but he never had a chance because Everton are run by clowns.

The only people that love him are the hidden kopites we have on here and the WUMs I genuinely wouldn’t mind reversing over.

Would of made a better DOF then Thelwell
He really wouldn’t mate, and that’s beside the fact he’s a clapped out dinosaur kopite joke of a football manager/coach.

No Dof will ever work at Everton while the owner, chairman and board get involved in every football related decision, after trusting Steve Walsh to do a competent job.

That’s why all DoFs have all failed (Walsh did himself in) as well as all the managers they have appointed.

If Thelwell was a proper functioning DoF he would be able to bullet lampard if he wanted, continue to sign any players he thinks would improve the squad and system we want to play (another vital ingredient missing) and have a list of managerial targets ready to go appoint today (not just bill Jung-uns little black book of old mates).

Look at the other clubs and how they go about things - we are bollocksed due to moshiri, kenwright and co - it’s that simple.

I agree mate no DOF is going to work at Everton, not until we have a clean sweep on the full set up, everyone, its been a disaster of a model.
I wonder how many clubs make a sucess of the DOF
