Should we see the positives in Benitez work at Everton?

I do wonder if, had there not been such ill feeling between fans and manager, that Benitez would have done us a favour and dragged the board over the coals had he been allowed to stay on.

Make no mistake, had he stayed longer we would've been in an awful mess, but he would've dragged the board down with him.

Lampards arrival and the board "listening" to the fans bought them time until the next inevitable crisis and yet another January manager hunt.

Probably, but we’d have been relegated.

Despite the woes and peril which were currently under, we’re still very much alive in the relegation battle.

If the fans are rallying and getting taken notice of, we’re capable of anything.

Benitez is excellent at blaming everyone but himself. It was easy at Newcastle. Yet, for all his praise in the North East Steve Bruce continuously provided better seasons… the fella is a has been.
 
Sorry to break this to you all, I been thinking about this for some time and I’ve made a decision……















I’ve just had to fire myself for hiring Benitez.
