Let’s hope that 45m release clause isn’t true, the way the market is going you won’t even get a Danny Ings for that price next year.
 
Release clause or not, you just don't turn down a signing like this in our position. Then it's up to the club to get the best of him (and the team as a whole) so he won't want to leave.

So do we put Bernard alongside Sigurdson and Gana in the deeper 3 or do we accept that Tosun, Rich, Theo and Bernie are unlikely to play together?

I think Silva is flexible enough to play his best 11 or mould the players to a system that suits the opposition
If you have enough options you can play a slightly different 11 at home to Cardiff than you would away to city

Considering he came in on a free, 45m buyout clause is bigly. 45m profit. That's like signing Aldevereraldi for 60m and putting a 105m buyout clause on him.

Also, buyout clause does not guarantee a player to leave if a team pays it.

He could easily flop then we're paying a player £6M to stink the place out and he'd want a club to come in and match his wages...which limits him to a handful of elite euro clubs. If he flops here no PL club would pay for him at a big price and pay his wages.

Well Inter Milan wanted him plus other clubs across Europe and I’m sure Shsktar wanted to keep him so there will be no shortage of takers at 20/30/40 m

Silva plays 433 or 4231 depending on the opposition
