He can definitely do better in some situations going forward but you can tell that he’s sharpening up every week.

I think he’s going to be a real player for us by the end of the season.

He travels with the ball so quickly, gets himself into a fantastic position and then seems to fall over. Just needs to get that final part right.

Disappointing

I wouldn’t call him disappointing, but there is no doubt he is the one signing who has struggled the most, to adapt to the physicality and speed of the premier league. He is a talent that there is no doubt, but prior to playing for us he’s barely played any football since March. However I fully expect him to improve, show more consistency and dictate games once he becomes accustomed to the league.

Has some excellent moments and touches, especially his first touch to control the ball.

Still needs to keep working to deal with the physicality of the league, if he’s able to become accustomed to it I feel he’ll become more influential.

What a worker, he's been pretty up and down in his games so far but this was one of his best games yet. Wonderful on the ball and tracking back as well, you can't ask for more.

The result was sickening but the more I dwell on it, I'm so happy with the players. I just hope we kick those RS rats all over GP in the next game and Marco strips off starko when we score our 6th and swan dives in front of the away end.

Not mentioned enough how well he did off the ball today. For a player like him it would be easy to swerve that responsibility but he was superb.

Defo mate, I actually thought he'd be dropped for today because of this but Silva obviously knows that he has defensive qualities in his locker. Such a shame about the result but so many positives out of this game.
