Good player, clever player. He is trying to find consistency but it will come. For the person who said he is not good enough for Everton you must have only watched the 84-85 season to come to that conclusion.

Once we sign a top striker he'll be on the bench with Richarlison out wide Left you would imagine.

Wouldn't have a problem with that either, having him and Lookman as options from the bench/ to rotate with is a great sign of strength in depth.

Just don't think we can lose Gylfi in that role though tbh. He adds so much with his pressing, and those three throughballs he played for Richarlison, Walcott and Coleman yesterday were sensational, even though I don't think he had his best game.

Bernard was very impressive though and when Christmas rolls around we're going to need all of the options we can have.

That was his best game for us. Positive in possession, showed a few good touches and was absolutely brilliant going the other way and helping his full back out. Not what we want from him but he does some brilliant work defensively.

Also every single game he does at least 1 touch which is absolute magic.

I would like to see him tried in that role but not as a starter. Only if things are not working out during a game would like to see him move over and give a try.
