Just needs to calm down a little bit when he gets in scoring situations. Seems to rush things just a touch. One goal and he'll be rolling.

I mean, Lookman created Bernard's chance yesterday, so not sure you can say the threat disappeared.
Think he was interviewed with richarlison and it was mentioned in the Cardiff match programme or the Brighton one

Think he needs to be given a bit more than half a season before we can properly judge him, to be honest. Personally, I think he's a little cracker who will cause many problems for a lot of teams we play and, at times, will frustrate our own fans.

We offered nothing for the first 15 of the second half. It's not that Walcott going off changed that, but we had a lot more threat after Lookman came on. Silva himself said we controlled the game from the 65 minute mark (which is true, until the very last minutes, of course).
He played well when he came on and deserves a go.
I'm not a Walcott hater at all and thought he played well yesterday, but now the games are piling up we use our squad.
Lookman also scared them sh*****s any time he had the ball. His first run he skipped past four players and set up a chance for Gylfi to shoot.

His link up play in midfield is fantastic but he currently can't find the composure in and around the area to create anything meaningful. If Lookman is going to get his chance, and he should, I'd put him in for Bernard.

Because defenders are petrified of him, he's 21 years old and this season he looks a completely different prospect after his loan spell than he did over the last few seasons. He's a naturally gifted player and if he comes good on his natural talent, he'll be excellent.

He will be the cover for Richarlison and Sigurdsson. It's a squad game now and if either of them get injured or lose form bringing Bernard in will not lower the quality. Next season with European football there will be plenty of games for everyone and by then he should be completely up to speed. Who would have thought we would have two high class Brazilians competing for a position we've come a long way!
