My mate used the goals and assists stats to tell me Gomes is gash and we've been robbed.

Didnt like it when i told him Ashley Barnes had scored the same amount of Premier League goals as Firmino last season so must be as good.

Arrived after not playing for 4 months, come into the most physical league in the world as one of smallest players and by the end looked like he's played here years. For all his deft touches and skills I was genuinely suprised by his fitness and workrate the last 2 months.

With a full season in ths league behind him, a full pre-season to come and a year of knowing the players around him, I reckon we are going to see a special player this year.

I think a lot of us have already seen a special player, next season we will see a very, very special player, a player that even opposition fans will appreciate.
