That's a good list. I think we overrate Bernard in a few areas though. First touch is great no doubt. Positioning and movement are decent but as a forward he doesn't get in the box or the areas between defenders around the box enough for me. Work rate obviously good but in his position not overly important. There is a minimum requirement obviously but going over that doesn't do as much as it does for a central midfielder. Passing range feels to me overrated. I think he plays it simple mostly which isn't always bad but also prevents him from making more telling contributions.
Yeah, and if you completely disregard the numbers you can still see he’s far from an elite creator, as I said good player technically but his impact is overrated
Totally agree. Maybe United if they decide that Martial and Rashford both aren't wingers but still probably not. Jota probably holds his place for Wolves too so none of the teams above us last season.
