The way he picked the ball up about two minutes after coming on, cut back, slowed down time itself then knocked it to Sigurdsson for the assist is something I haven’t seen from an Everton player in years.

Its a beautiful thing watching players do this, it changes the pace, out wits well drilled defences by creating space.

It's why the clamour for him to be chucked in needs to stop. We're easing him in and I'm sure he'll start against Southampton, but not every game will suit him starting.

Ironically enough, I can see his best games being against the top six clubs. That's when I'd be looking to start him for sure, as he gives us so much pace/compsure on the counter.

It's what I said at the start of the season, he'll be invaluable away from home because we do suck with composure especially away hence why we drop so many points. Just look at Coleman last min v wolves, simple as you like winner and he rushed a terrible pass, getting Bernard in those situations instead will see us pick up a lot more wins.

In the bits and pieces I’ve seen of him he looks very good, he is going to be one of those players who never loses the ball or gives it away.He reminds me of Juninho and if he’s half as good he will still be better than most of our team.

All boils down to the fact he hadn't played a game since March and had no pre-season preperation. If he was to have had a pre-season, he would start every game I'd imagine.

I love the way both our Boys from Brazil are willing to track back and help out! Once this lad gets fit, i reckon he will be the first name on the teamsheet and the one that the team gets built around. First payer we have had who looks like he could be the Arteta type we have needed for such a long time

Part of the reason he has the intelligence and the composure to stop and not needlessly rush things is that he know he can he wins fouls so easily. His feet are so quick that if that Fulham defender would have actually came back in towards him he no doubt would have turned him or won a pen.

I'd say he's least suited to the right. Best on the left.

I'm sure he can play in the middle but his best games for Shakthar came on the left drifting in.

I like the fact hardly any of the media mention this guy in relation to our signings ,I honestly think he could be one of the signings of the summer ,brands did fantastic getting this lad to Everton

The obvious question is where does he play
Played on the left cutting in for Shaktar
Played on the left so far with us when he came on
Silva said he’s competition for Siggy when he signed.
So does he replace Ricarlison, does he go to No 10 and Siggy drops back
Where does that leave Gomes ?
Does he drop Siggy altogether ?
Does he try Ricarlison up top even though he’s playing very well on the left and him and Digne seem to be gelling
I think once he’s up to speed he will have to start every game so it’s a nice problem for Silva but I think we need to play all our best players and that includes Siggy , Bernard , Walcott , Ricarlison Gomes
