He is a total luxury player in the ilk of Deulofeu and Mirallas ,for me no where near strong enough and too easily bullied .Not as big a problem as Keane though.

Hes a fantastic squad player...i think he would be ideal to have coming off the bench at 60mins for a good team and rotating into the line up.

Cant see him as a first choice at a top 4 side but definitely in a squad.

Keep expecting him to produce something special but it never happens couple of decent moments in a game now and then is not really good enough is it
he is very good footballer but a average performer

Nothing player in all honesty. People like him because he’s Brazilian and once every 4 or 5 games he’ll skin a player with a bit of skill.

He’s now 27 and has never been either a reliable scorer, or assister of goals.

Squad player at best as ive always said... however its clear Silva rushed him back from injury.

I would personally give him 2-3 weeks on the bench to recover/ get back upto speed.

Hope this guy doesn’t play. He’s so easy to play against. I’m not a stats guy but I’d love to see how often he loses the ball. Seems to be popular because he drops he shoulder or cruyff turns every 5 games but his productivity is woeful

Prior to injury he was one of our best players! Won the game against Watford, broke the deadlock against West Ham and then got injured.

We signed Klaassen and he was gash. We signed Sandro and he was gash. We signed Rooney and he was past it and gash. Realistically Gana and Pickers are two of our best players and Siggy is as well despite several hating him purely because of his price tag. And before you say it’s not his price...

Some players just have a better likeability factor which detracts from their performances. If Bernard stinks the gaff out, he’s not fit. If sigurdsson does, he’s slaughtered. It just appears Bernard is a likeable sort of guy
