You wanted him sold last week!
Deulofeu is a modern day Taarabt. He only thrives at a club willing to put up with the antics. Great player but he will never be playing in a top team I don't think.
I think the Bernard subs are more injury related than stamina. He has had a tough time staying healthy so no need to over extend him.
If somehow we can get 90 minutes out of Bernard it will be even better. Deulefeu was the same, all class but no stamina, and subbed every game he played. He has got that stamina now at Watford and is one who will be in demand, maybe even returning to Barca one day.
He must be good. Has been included in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week.
...and compared to the great Colin Harvey! All we need now is to turn Siggy into Bally and Tom into Howard and we'll be flying. He must be good. Has been included in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week.
Don't be obsessed with goals. Del is sheer class which we saw briefly in partnership with Lukaku, and he is now showing at Watford only with more energy. . Bernard is also sheer class but is no regular goal scorer. Putting the ball in the onion bag is not the only requirement, someone has to provide the chances.Im sure Geris 4 goals and 3 assists this season have caught the eye over at the Camp Nou.
Good to see him getting the plaudits from someone with such a strong reputation.Garth Crooks' team of the week: Aguero, Mata, Van Dijk, James, Ings
Which Chelsea youngster finally makes the cut? And which Everton midfielder buzzed around Goodison Park? Find out in Garth Crooks' team of the week.www.bbc.co.uk
"Bernard: This lad was only on the pitch for 72 minutes but the impact he made on Everton against a resilient Brighton side was clear. Bernard buzzed around Goodison Park like the legendary Colin Harvey used to - and he had to do it without players of the calibre of Alan Ball or Howard Kendall supporting him. That's the problem for new manager Carlo Ancelotti - Everton lack quality in midfield, Bernard apart."
I’ve seen bigger St Bernard’s than our wee BernardSAINT BERNARD
