Best cooked breakfast you ever had

Same. My arl fella used to throw all kinds on ours on a Sunday, was this a scouse thing? I used to get walls hamburgers and all kids

I used to live in Strabane in County Tyrone and the Spa shops over there all have hot food counters. You could get an Ulster Fry for about £3.50. I went to one near Belfast once and it came with chicken nuggets and a hamburger on it

I remember during my very first job, we used to have a greasy spoon style cafe. Managed to get beige breakfasts for £2 (this was about 30 years ago)

Sausages. Bacon, eggs, toast. All served on a filthy plate with a glass of orange, I couldn’t bear to even try that these days by my god those where the days

Yes, I know hash browns have no place on a breakfast

Take that back! Hash browns are 100% breakfast food!

I used to work away a bit and spent some time in Cardiff. Staying in a hotel one morning at breakfast there was a lot of Chinese tourists in one day. I sat across from a lady who made up a breakfast plate and she’d made a full English but on the same plate put cereal and milk, yoghurt and fruit and a pastry. Watching the milk mix with her beans still haunts my dreams

That looks the very berries tbh
There's an Italian restaurant near me within a golf club that make mean breakfast.
My cousin will be travelling up to visit us in August and I'll give me an excuse to make the full Scottish Bhouna with Tattie scone, haggis, stornoway black pudding and steak lorne sausage.

What are people's thoughts on beans + tomatoes in a fry up ? For me it's got to be one or the other, don't mind which.

My uncle used to have beans, tomatoes and then cover it all in ketchup as well, the wrongun.
Only beans for me...i mash mine up...salt and pepper, little knob cheese...then low and slow on the hob.

I'll put my beans up against anyone's.

Well not literally coz that would be weird.

There’s a great burger van not far from where I live and very occasionally I will treat myself to a breakfast bap from there, they source all of their produce from a local butcher (no bulk buying supermarket junk). When Prince William was based up here he and his mates were regular customers there, so if it’s good enough for a future king then it’s good enough for me.
