I like alot of different types of music if that's what you're getting at, e.g. for my first few albums in my music folder I've got 50 Cent - Curtis followed by Guitar Gods followed by best of Rock followed by Now 71 and then Bob Marley thrown in for good measure

EDIT: And fwiw I'd love to throttle Bono

Have you got NOW 70 and Best of Slade? :D

Michael Jackson was superb, PERIOD! His dancing was legendary, PERIOD! Those that never rated him clearly no nothing about music. Just like Elvis Presley, there will never be another MJ, simples.

One of the sad things is though....He will probably make more money now he is dead, than when he was alive. He was pretty skint at the end allegdly..

That's a ridiculous thing to say. You sound like you're the 12 year old. He blatantly wasn't awful. In your opinion he may have been, in reality he wasn't.

Not really. His act was childish and delusional. Particularly as he progressed, he became more and more absurd, and more and more of a fantasist. It culminated in him mimicking Christ. His whole persona, which was carried over into his music, was immature and nauseatingly juvenile. Furthermore, when you see the typical MJ 'super-fan' on TV, and I mean those ones that follow him around like sheep, they're hardly the most well-balanced, mature individuals on the planet. Add to that, the fact that MJ did have a habit of grooming children.

So it's hardly ridiculous to claim that he might appeal to 12 year old kids. I'm pretty sure a number of 12 year olds are crying into their pillows right now.

I have been saddened by some of the coarse remarks posted on here following his sad departure. Love him or hate him, i cant understand why jokes and snide comments have been made about him. I cant say i liked or disliked him has person because i did'nt know him personally, but has an artist, he cannot be faulted. His moonwalk for one became legendry and i am sad that he has passed away.

Well I'm 27 and I grew up hearing his music and regardless of his personal life and regardless of what you think of him he will always be remembered a legend in the music industry. Sure, he'll equally be remembered for a lot of other things outside of his music but we're talking about the best solo artists in this thread. I'm not MJ 'super-fan' but I can respect his music accomplishments.

I remember the Sweet ...."Blockbuster" or something? Suzi Quatro all in leather...now that is quite a different subject:D:D:D:D
