Horne - Wimbledon
Farrelly - Coventry
Dom - Palace
Doucs - Bournemouth

Not cos they were the most Beautiful strikes, But for the meaning behind them and what they done to me seeing them hit the back of the net..
A sad state of affairs when you're picking goals that have saved us, especially with some of the Beauties we have on record.

Too many to mention but some of my favourites...
Bob Latchford hat trick goal v Coventry was one of my early Everton memories, right in front of me sat in the old Park End stand!
Brian Kidd, a "scissors" type kick against Brighton.
Sharpy scored quite a few spectacular ones, apart from the obvious (Spurs, Anfield), I remember him scoring a brilliant goal against Leeds in his early days at the club.
Adrian Heath v Norwich, when Sheedy scooped the ball over their defence and Heath ran onto it and volleyed it in.
In the more modern era, I thought McFadden's last minute winner v Charlton was a brilliant bit of skill, that first touch to set it up... !

Rooney against Arsenal.

Great goal but it was the hope that it was the start of something special.
Was there with my Dad who was 70 at the time and my lad who was 8. My Dad left about a minute before Rooney scored and I was worried he’d missed it, then we found him about six feet of the ground holding on to a barrier at the back of the Family Enclosure, leaping up and down like a mad man! He’d turned and seen it just as he was headed out!
He died a couple of years later, and it was one of his last games at Goodison!

As for my “Best Everton goal” - Rooney’s is right up there, but I’m going to go with Sheedy’s free kick(s) against Ipswich!
They talk about it on Howard’s Way. After the first one was disallowed Reidy said something like “What are we going to do now?”, and Sheedy just said something along the lines of “I’ve got this” and stuck it in the other top corner, a genius of a left foot!

If that happened now with the coverage or if someone like beckham had done it , it would never be off the telly .

A more recent one. Not for the goal itself per se, but I really enjoyed the the 29 ole's that led up to Beto's goal against Newcastle.
Playing keep ball to run the clock down . . . and then end it this way.

Just watching that back and you don't need a lip reader to see what McNeil was shouting when he ran over to Beto. "What a goal! - what a f**king goal! - what a goal!"
