Didn't we try it against Luton when we were chasing the game? Seem to remember it not working as they were both taking the same space & getting in each others way.I'd love to seem both up top in a 442 one game
if only they had time during the week between games to work on shizzleDidn't we try it against Luton when we were chasing the game? Seem to remember it not working as they were both taking the same space & getting in each others way.
I agree. That will give him the confidence to do it again....only a foul would've stopped his run and the impressive finish. Im made up for him.He was classic Yakubu last night the way he muscled the defender out of the way for his goal.
We got the build up wrong as we can only play direct footballI agree. That will give him the confidence to do it again....only a foul would've stopped his run and the impressive finish. Im made up for him.
I think that sums it up nicely, he's a Dyche type player. Iwobi and Grey were not.Humble. Hard working. Seems willing to learn. Probably never dreamed he’d get this far.
He’ll support Dom’s fitness & be the target for Chermiti to aim for as he develops.
I’m in. Money well spent.
His game is not back to the goal as he cannot control the ball no where near what DCL can do. I think most of us assumed he had the same type of skillset as Dom but he is different, not your typical "Chris Wood" type of player up front. He needs to use that pace and strength of his bully past defenders, very much like he did for his assist to Ashley Young a few weeks ago.A lot of people saying his goal was clumsy. What I saw was a striker moving into space, using his pace to carry the ball, keeping the ball on his other foot away from the defender, barging the defender away and slotting the ball home. I thought it was fantastic and if Haaland would have scored it people would be talking about the passing, the build up, the movement, the space, the wonderful forward run, the skill, the strength and the finish through the keepers legs.
