I’m not sure what “adapting to the league” will do for a player with league two technique, he‘s a mile off. He tries, I’ll give him that.

Mykolenko had similar issues, now he's our player of the season so far.

He and Chermiti certainly don’t seem like players that are going to be relied on to push us up the table if DCL is out for a bit of time again. Need to pray it was precautionary with DCL and he can get through the Christmas period and have a rest in cup games

This time last year we'd written off the guy who just won us that match. I don't like what I've seen so far but the guy was a regular starter in Serie A, he's got to have a lot more to give.

He’s a bottom 6 striker who will get about 5 goals a season, not a position we’ve been in for a long long time so we’re not used to it.
Same as most of our squad really.

If he got 8 or 9 I'd be pleased personally.

He's not a top 6 level player but in our state we are never going to get a player like that. We just need players who are young(ish) and have a lot of desire. Once he came off we were totally under the cosh, Chermitti just doesn't have the presence to get up the pitch like Beto was doing. That in itself makes him far more useful than Maupay ever has or could be.

Definitely wrong to write him off at this point, still got ages until the season finishes.
