2024/25 Beto

There is a player there without a doubt, he’s quick, strong and can finish. Add in some confidence and rhythm and boom.

Players are never as bad as some think and often just need someone to believe in them.

And coaching and playing a way that best utilises them. Honestly I have no idea what Dyche did on the training ground with these players. It appears absolutely nothing.

Dyche froze certain players out and made them uncomfortable. It's something I will never understand from managers. I think Beto and several others will benefit from a more happy go lucky guy like Moyes. He clearly didn't rate Beto but he found a way to work with him anyways. Even with Myko, he created a system and has encouraged him to go forward and improve his all around game. I think he is doing a solid job so far. Hats off to him.

I haven't seen any of the game. But sounds like actually play to his strengths, might make a difference.?

He's an instinctive finisher by the looks of it. We've seen glimpses of it, but now Moyes is actually encouraging variety in approach he's getting balls in behind, and he'll be more effective then anyone we currently have.

Would be made up for him if this starts to click.

Very clear pen. Have no idea why it wasn't given. He was run over. The only reason I can think of is that Beto is a giant blob of meat and they assume he should just deal with the contact. If it had been Lindstrom or someone that would fly off of that contact, it is given every day.
It would be given every day if it was Salad.
