He had them at sixes and sevens the entire first half with zero service. He's a solid 15 goals a season player if he plays all the time.

And missed the one very easy chance he had. He missed 3 massive chances vs Brentford.

I don’t want him as our main striker at all next season

He had a decent first half to be fair, worked hard, but always looks clunky and unaorthadox with his movement to me, but somehow wriggled him in twice (one offside, one bad VVD defending).

He's definitely not good enough to be leading the line week in week out though.

Not even sure he's worth keeping as 2nd option, as think the money could be better spent.

Chermiti might have a higher ceiling if he gets minutes in, hard to tell

Thought he was good. On his own, against tbf 2 top of prem quality defenders, created good chances on his own. Rather watch him than dcl or boroja, not seen enough of chemeti. Keep, cares, works hard, will hopefully be a 2nd choice striker (not behind dcl!!!)

In that first half he was the one most likely to win the game for us . The disallowed goal was close , but he should have scored , just about every time he’s in that position he opens up his body and side foots it with his right foot, this time the curve he put on the ball took it onto the post .

I thought he did well to actually get the chance. It was a poor pass from Doucore, he tempted VVD in and then took it away from him. Should then score perhaps but i thought he was a threat like you said.

If anything, I am impressed he is creating these chances for himself. Suarez hit the post a billion times in his first year before going on to be as prolific as he was. The offsides finish was class. There is a player in there. People looking to write him off have been waiting for the moment to dig in. He is creating these himself. Imagine once he actually gets consistent service and Doucore not bumming him all game and screwing up a simple pass.
