2024/25 Beto

Took his goal really well.

It's really simple, give him balls to run into and he ain't bad. Ask him to play with his back to goal and he's absolutely crap.
Ya if we had a really good passer of the ball who can play through balls regularly like Armstrong did tonight I think he can score a few. He's good at making runs and bends his runs well not like Dcl who keeps getting himself offside

He's like a horse and actual horse playing football, but with 2 legs

Quite a nice horse...friendly, not bad at kicking the ball with his horse feet

But he still an actual horse galloping about the pitch, gets a polo when he scores a goal

If we played league 1 teams every week he’d be a 30 a season man…sadly (or thankfully actually) we don’t.

Feel sorry for any forward playing under Dyche, it’s hard to judge them but for all his endeavour don’t think he’ll ever be a starter every week, even if we get more bodies up in support and get better service to him. If he’s not happy being a squad player and we can get our money back/can get a replacement in then best to part ways.

He is a counter attacking striker similar to Lukaku (albeit not nearly as refined). He is athletic, makes decent runs and can be a nuisance in a 1 on 1 getting in behind. There are many games where he would be the better option and some where you want more of a ball player.

The guy is a total enigma to me.

He moves like a pantomime horse, the ones where you have 2 people inside the costume and the one at the back can’t see anything.

Despite this, he always seems like he has a goal in him from somewhere.

Mystifying player

He isn't elegant - I'm not sure why we bought him - but once you have him, does it matter how he scores ?

Can see Moyes getting Dunc back - could be a big influence on Beto and he has a chance to find some momentum if we finally ditch the failed Calvert-Pooin dirge.
