Betting against Everton, acceptable?

I couldn't bet against Everton even if Wolves were 100/1. I have an Arsenal supporting mate who makes money backing against his team, but, I'd rather be broke than be cheering on the opposition.

If wolves were 100/1 I’d back them and not tell anyone on here like.

I feel bad for backing Gomes and Davies to get yellow cards FFS.
I miss Schneiderlin and his daft early yellow.

I'm not a gambling man but i understand it's the only way Everton can consistently bring you pleasure.

I do it all the time and lose no sleep - minute we go 1-0 up in any game, bet on the other team. Worked a treat backing Norwich at HT in November when it was 0-0 - knew we'd lose. £90 compensation for the worst performance of the season by that point.

It's all the fault of those pathetic wasters (bar Rich, DCL and Holgate) that I feel compelled to place such a bet. If they could string two passes together, let alone two decent performances, I might not do this, and be up there with "better" fans like Bainesleftfoot.

Hoping for at least 50/1 in August when I put my yearly pony on relegation.

Yes, but depends on the amount. If its a decent return then I see it as a win win. If the bet loses it means we havent lost. If the bet comes in, you have won £££.

If its only worth a tenner or something then no it isnt
