Crawling back to Big Sam is the most depressing outcome.
We sacked him after finishing 8th (because the football was atrocious). Hes spent the following years running down the club in the press , all while the club fight for their lives against relegation.
Now turni g back to him and saying "we're sorry, take us back" makes the board and owner look even more incompetent.
Just because he didnt save them, doesnt mean that still wasnt the case.I’m sure West Brom said the same.
Facing oblivion after relegation would be the most depressing outcome. How about getting all excited about a play off final at Wembley and then losing it? That’s far more depressing!
I honestly don’t get the hysteria about Allardyce. He’s just a no nonsense old skool English football manager that has built a reputation for keeping teams in the premier league. Nobody’s that arsed about him, really. You’d think he was Fred West the way some people go on.
Don't think Houdini could save us now, were doomed Pike were doomed I tell ya.
I want him back.
The fans need to stop with the sack the board chants.. how on earth is that going to help the club in any way shape or form. If anything this will only hurt us 100% asking for relegation.
Moshiri isn’t perfect, in fact nobody is. He built us a stadium and listened to the fans on signing a fraud manager (Lampard).
Time is the only thing that heal wounds? There’s no quick fix and with sacking the board this will only keep us in the championship.
