Stayed at a farm camping in the late 80s early 90s at Lytham St Annes and there was a Slaughter House beside it. Little piggies squealing at 6am then sausages on the campfire at 8am. Struggled on.

The parsec (symbol: pc) is a unit of length used to measure the large distances to astronomical objects outside the Solar System, approximately equal to 3.26 light-years or 206,265 astronomical units (AU), i.e. 30.9 trillion kilometres (19.2 trillion miles).

So Star Wars uses parsec incorrect then when Han states he did the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs?

It’s a calculation of distance and not time. That means 12 parsecs would be something like 40 years worth of travel at light speed.
