From what I can remember we had a couple of seasons where the biggest thing he did was miss a peno v Coventry that could have been very costly, but really started showing his best in his last season before moving to the dark side. Lescott couldn`t wait to leave as soon as City said they wanted him, and the way he pretty much downed tools to force a move was unforgivable.Who would you say is the biggest traitor to leave Everton? I'd say Lescott personally. Too young to remember Barmby.
Die, die, Nicky, Nicky die.
And under Johnson, Dr Marsh and postwar till SJM came along. Even in the 80s under SJM we were singing "let's all have a whip round" to sign Terry Curran. We have always been in a financial mess under BK & Co
I remember being at Leeds it was a night game and he was warming up as a sub not far from us blues, the level of abuse/bile/hate was on another level,I remember he looked ashen faced, needless to say he didn't get on the pitch!!terrible to say.. sing…
i was in my early twenty’s or younger don’t even know
anyway it was definitely him
ok rooney kissed the united badge
but he was younger and he come back
barmby was scum had one good season at us then went across park then after one season
we’re did he go?
leg it barmby and your bird was a munter
Well I wanted one of them to go long before they went and it wasn’t Wayne Rooney that’s for sure!Moyes and Rooney were right to leave.
Lescott peed me off the most. Dragging it out all summer, then downing tools first game of the season when we got a hiding off Arsenal. It wasn't that he couldn't go, and he went on to win trophies, but the manner of it.
Yeah we did, but I just remember that the whole thing was an absolute shambles.but then we went on to have an ok season mate!
There were plenty of people at the club who knew the true story but kept quiet and let Gary be the scapegoat for what was going on at the club, Gary kept the story to himself even though he got loads every time he played at Goodison after he left!ITs mad innit, the media literally told us what to think years ago.
Some of us have woke up, but there are still billions of people in this world who's lives are shaped by what they are told to believe in.
