Bilic confirming that abusing players effects their game

There was a weekend recently in the junior leagues when parents were told not to shout encouragement from the sidelines, as support for referees. After my lad's team's game they all said they preferred the silence.
But it was soul less.
I think it's indicative of 'society' that encouraging youngsters in sport, cheering them on, supporting them, would suffer because some parents are absolute bellwhiffs and scream and shout at referees and opposing players.

Last season, my lads Saturday league, introduced ropes, lining the sidelines off and they were placed a certain distance away from the sidelines - they`ve had them in kids rugby for years and call them " respect lines ".

It worked a treat, as for some reason, the physical barrier of the ropes and standing that little bit further back, made the more nutty parents, wind their necks in.

They don't understand what supporting actually is, it should be about encouragement, guidance, letting them know they are not alone.
Unfortunately for too many it's a pint of beer, a moan and a smoke bomb
Hahahah so you was singin encouragement for benitiez when everyone had turned on him by last December doubt it

We sort of have them, as one of the 'coaches' I'm on the opposite side and tend to be the loudest, but it's all encouragement or 'tactical' stuff, never critical, so I get told of some of the stuff. The ropes make some parents just shout louder because they just have to be heard, self indulgent, priviliged bells. And the mothers tend to be just as bad as they cheer on 'johnny meal ticket' in his man bun and 'academy ststus' ?

Yes - exactly, they just don't recognise it or don't want to recognise it

It's the Trump sort of mindset, denying reality

But these guys are a key root cause of the downward spiral I believe. I don't know what the answer is though - is there a way to improve the situation?
So the cause of our 30 year decline isn’t poor administration , poor managers , poor players , underfunding , lack of a structure befitting a modern football club, multiple changes of direction, spending too much on poor players ?
No , according to you it’s because some lad in the Park End occasionally calls Keane ‘a useless carthorse’ or some such!
haha words fail me , you utter beaut !
