Bilingual road signs in Wales

You have to be careful when pronouncing Welsh words and names, because if a passing van of nuns is going by they might mistakenly think that you've been possessed by a demon

Read an article recently about someone complaining about having bilingual road signs in Wales. Does this bother anybody else ? Personally I think a simple solution would be to do away with bilingual signs and just have them in Welsh.

I think it’s a great educational initiative to teach those few Welsh speakers English……

OK if that's your first language, but for the Vast majority of people who don’t speak Phlemish and automatically read from the top of the sign it's positively dangerous as you've gone past...even at 20mph...it before you've had a chance to see the english

I would hazard a guess that those complaining about signs being in a strange forren language are unlikely to go abroad where it's full of forreners.
