You still never answered my question Steve!! Did you learn that off Kenwright, he was pretty good at diverting questions, especially at AGM’s. Anyway Steve I’ll bet you a penny he’ll hang on forever until it’s physically impossible, I’ll even give 10/1 on that!!

Just an opinion, like most stuff on here that isn't a provable fact.(Facts....BK is very good at his main job in the theatre and movies.....Fact.....BK has had a couple of very attractive wives....Fact....The Greggs made loads of money refurbishing old theatres and putting Bills shows on.......Fact....at least twice BK was asked by Lloyd Webber to 'improve' a couple of LWs shows that were not doing well, and BK turned them into successes....Fact....BKs income is royalties on Educating Rita which is usually being performed somewhere in the world, and the movie Stepping Out ...Fact....an executive of the company that runs the Palace and Opera House in Manchester told me that provincial theatre on a large scale would be dead in the UK without Bill Kenwrights shows. Jenny has been worried about Bills health since his scare a few years ago....now that one a heard second hand but it would be true of most partners .

Oh good 'ol Kipper.Fun while it lasted. Bill made a lot of mistakes during his tenure,but the often quoted 'gaffes' have all been subject to that word you just used 'spin' All this has been discussed many times on here and years ago on Kipper and I'm too old and too busy to go into it all again. Have a read back through the years !!
 
I have asked before and it may have been answered. Does anyone remember Bill Blue at the game in the late seventies, early eighties? I have been told he spent more time at Anfield than Goodison. To be fair a lot of us went to each others home games then. Its just Ed Stewart was always promoting Everton but the blessed King of the Boys Pen has all been the last 30 odd years of noise.

I’ve asked this a few times on Everton websites, has anybody got concrete evidence that Kenwright attended Everton games on a regular basis as a lad or a teenager, can any of his mates, if he’s got any, from his youthful days give any recollections of him going to the game, apart from his own stories go going to Anfield on the crossbar of his uncle Cyril‘s bike, did he have an uncle Cyril? He tells that many bleedin’ porkies along with an imagination that puts Billy Liar to shame.

It's more made up rubbish as a pathetic attempt to discredit him. If he was that bad an owner people wouldn't feel the need to spread such rubbish.
