It wasn't 'twaddle' though was it? It was arguing to convince supporters of the benefits and 'necessity' to move to Kirkby. Calling it 'theatrical' is completely disingenuous, or perhaps that's your personal euphemism for 'lying'?
"For every 'action' there is an equal and more devastating 'inaction". (Magic's law of theatrics).
He wasnt lying, he might of been slightly economical with the truth though, but If he believed what he was saying thats one thing, however Kirkby didnt happen, so its not something we need to worry about.

The reality will always come down to one rock solid point about Kenwright, when he bought Everton off PJ not one single other buyer was interested and the club was a total mess, he bought us at a time it was vital we got taken over and made us stable, he did do that and its impossible to say he didnt. He then sold the club on a very good platform to build on and it was destroyed by the current owner.

That's a very 'interesting' interpretation of events, stripped to the bare bones and those elements that flesh out the story discarded.

Btw, 'he' didn't buy 'us', he was part of a consortium, all of whom put up more money than him, regardless of wether he 'mortgaged his house' (unproven to this day'. ?

I’ll give us 5 mins to celebrate staying up if we manage it and then I want us to turn to putting this board and chairman under immense pressure to step down.

To be replaced by who? Mates of Kia J?
We don't need Bill to step down, we need him to step up and run some of Farhads mates out of town.

Yeah lets get Philip Green & Robert Earl back , Fortress funding on the way , lets just sell the Family Silver or anything else thats not nailed down, that'll teach them.

Good ole Bill knows how to pick wrong uns.

Haha you make it sound like our only options are Bill or Kia. I would go for option number 3 and have someone entirely different, even give it to Cahill who clearly has good contacts, has developed himself since he finished but still knows the club and demonstrated the ethos that we all want to see back in the club.
