Another season of abject failure for us (and that's the best possible outcome if we manage to avoid the drop) while the RS win trophy after trophy. Most clubs would look internally as to why they constantly fail at EVERYTHING all the time and chase out those responsible for it. Not at Everton though. No, here lifelong losers like Kenwright are hailed as heros by a depressingly large section of the fanbase and the rest of us are given a stern talking to by Mr chairman himself on the "good times" we've had. Part of me feels like we as a club deserve Kenwright, no other fanbase in the world would tolerate and just accept such constant, unceasing failure. Kenwright is obviously not our only problem as a club and he might not even be the biggest but he's a symbol of everything that is wrong with it. We can never go forward or being to heal and rebuild while he remains associated with us. He's like an open wound that's been festering away and rotting for years and years.

A relegation battle will actually do wonders for Bill because it lowers expectations even further. A relatively comfortable 14th place finish next year will be seen as a success by the majority.

There does seem to be quite a silent but significant minority who don't think he has done anything wrong.

In the mere 5 minutes I spent with a Twitter account earlier this year, I joined in a thread critical of him and got several messages more or less suggesting I was either ungrateful or had I never made a mistake in my life. It didn't surprise me either.

It's his selfishness that grates me.

He has taken decisions in his own interest over that of the club.

He has presided over stagnation, decline, and farce.

We are run in an amateur, backward manner with an inept board and executives.

It's all mutual back-slapping with no accountability. We have no global focus and nobody to ask hard questions. They wouldn't last 5 minutes anyway.

I don't think we can turn a page as a club until he is gone and that's a real worry.

He's like a tinpot dictator at this stage with the only thing going for him being his propaganda machine with the club in virtual ruin. He's waiting to cut the ribbon on Bramley Moore.

The day he leaves will be a great day.

I've thought this from day one of the takeover.

Although he's here without the sway he used have , i'd bet he has it in a contract he remains til the stadium is handed over.
I would imagine he'd have it covered if Moshiri was to sell up too.

I've said for years he's waiting for his Dave Whelan FA Cup final winning moment, but as we've seen this season, his defining legacy is so much more likely to be a relegation rather than a trophy.

The selfishness knows no bounds. Every single one of us would've walked away years ago after presiding over so much failure yet he refuses to take a step back. He seems more emboldened than ever judging by his 'spirit of the blues' article on the official site last week.

I'm resigned to us being lumbered with him until he dies. Kenwright knows full well he's not popular with plenty of blues but has enough support amongst the fanbase, as well as people inside the club plus his allies in the media, to keep him still cozy in his beloved Chairmans seat for many years to come, and that's such a depressing thought.

Some have called him our Doug Ellis, but at least Villa won some trophies with Ellis as owner/Chairman.

Kenwright has been here that long it seems some blues, those that still blindly back him anyway, can't imagine an Everton without him. I'm sure when he eventually pops his clogs these types will turn up at his graveside with the jump leads trying to revive him, "Bill Bill wake up, we need you, please Bill, aww c'mon Bill".

I really hope all things to do with relegation are sorted tomorrow. Then the fans ( who he couldn't wait to jump on the bandwagon with last week) can turn their attention to him. And mark my words they will. Its gone too far this time
What's gone too far?

Everytime I go to quote and reply to you, I delete it half way through. I just hope everyone realizes by now you're a troll and a slug like BK.
No, .just someone who can see this current mess can only be blamed on Moshiri.
The very thought of fans wanting Bill to go now so Farhsd can appoint someone, with his recruitment track record says a lot about how little notice they have actually paid to what he has been doing to us over the last 6 years.

You seem to be completely oblivious to the fact that your hero is still chairman and has been throughout all decisions. You're also conveniently forgetting the endless and well documented litany of lies and failures that preceeded in the almost 2 decades that saw us firmly drop from one of the big boys to nobodies.
