No, we didn't have to win our final home game to stay up.
Under Bill we came 4th, we came 5th several times, we will never do that with Farhad
Yeah we had to sell him, and we know why because the bank was knocking on the door after Johnsons mess. After selling the best young player of that generation to the richest team, then, in the league for basically, buttons.
He's the very root of all our problems , has been for over 20 yrs.Not really, people are still sulking about Bill, they need to get over it and accept he is our chairman and should remain so.
Brining Moshiri is killing us, but fans wanted him to sell, it didn't work, if they now think replacing him as chairmen too will benefit they are taking no notice of what is going on.He's the very root of all our problems , has been for over 20 yrs.
Remarkably the clubs longest & most barren spell coincides with him at the helm.
But of course you know this.
Brought Moshiri here too , hows that working out.
Yeah we had to sell him, and we know why because the bank was knocking on the door after Johnsons mess.
The season we sold him were did we finish in the table? Remind me, I can't remember?
Where did we finish after selling Rooney? No Bill was the owner at the time, that was not down to Johnson, I'll remind you of "not even for £50m" we sold him for a £10m down payment with a £10m deferred payment, that was like giving United a £10 m loan to buy our best player, let that sink in. Then we had £7m of drib and drab payments over so many years, depending on what United won, yes a great deal... Bill had us in debt up to our eyeballs, season ticket sales were in hock for the next two seasons at times. Moyes saved Bill from being run out of town, by working miracles on a shoestring. Not a bad person by any means just a bad owner, at a time when money began to rule football, we had none.
He's an "Old boys club" laughing stock that nearly bancrupt the club , selling anything that wasnt nailed down.Brining Moshiri is killing us, but fans wanted him to sell, it didn't work, if they now think replacing him as chairmen too will benefit they are taking no notice of what is going on.
Moshiri has proved he can't recruit.
Nearly, nearly, nearly.... nearly means he didn't, he DIDN’T bankrupt the club, he DIDN'T finish the club, he also DIDN’T have us with worrys about FFP because he knew what he was doing to secure is long term. He's an "Old boys club" laughing stock that nearly bancrupt the club , selling anything that wasnt nailed down.
Heaped massive debt on the club and got Moshiri to bail it all.
Coupled with all his lies and false promise's he nearly finished this club , none the less he'll be gone soon.
You still don't actually seem to understand what the issue is with Bill do you?Brining Moshiri is killing us, but fans wanted him to sell, it didn't work, if they now think replacing him as chairmen too will benefit they are taking no notice of what is going on.
Moshiri has proved he can't recruit.
Maybe because he didn't sell.Brining Moshiri is killing us, but fans wanted him to sell, it didn't work, if they now think replacing him as chairmen too will benefit they are taking no notice of what is going on.
Moshiri has proved he can't recruit.
But him staying on was good, well it certainly hasnt done us any harm, I dread to think were we would be if Farhad had replaced him with one of his cronies, zero chance of us still being top flight that is for certain.Maybe because he didn't sell.
He found his golden goose. After over two decades of 24/7 searching that involved such heavyweights as Keith Harris and the Planet Hollywood Fella, he found a useful Idiot who was happy to invest over several years whilst allowing him to continue as the fat controller.
I can imagine the conversations to this day
"Yes Farhad, I know.... I know.... Yes, just been really unlucky.... I know. Well, I know your busy with yournoyher business interests, don't worry about Everton. We'll get it right! Yeah, yeah..... We will. Don't forget salaries in just over a week. HAHAHAHA! Thank you, Farhad"
Turns to camera..... "Lovely man, Farhad.... Really knows football and LOVES Everton...... Margaret! Bring us a brew love"
But that's my point. If he'd have genuinely put the club up for sale rather than his years long investor search, would we have even heard of Moshiri? But him staying on was good, well it certainly hasnt done us any harm, I dread to think were we would be if Farhad had replaced him with one of his cronies, zero chance of us still being top flight that is for certain.
Really when you get past personal dislikes of Bill the mess Moshiri made with more money shows what a good job Bill did with less.
'we have had some good times' ? He should of told them to F off, it wasnt an official statement, just a meaningless phase to a mob in the streetYou still don't actually seem to understand what the issue is with Bill do you?
Lets explain it again. Moshiri is a numpty, nobody is saying he isn't and he is miles out of his depth in football but all he has done is create a mess on top of the mess that was there in the first place, and before you start with the nonsense the only reason Farhad is involved is because Bill had us tied in with Green and the law were chasing after him and he had to bail out quick sharpish.
The KEY issue with Bill Kenwright (imo) is the years and years of stagnation that have left us so far behind our rivals/peers. The damage caused by it is irrepairable, no amount of money injected or new stadiums are going to change it, then he has got the bare faced gaul to stand there telling fans 'we have had some good times' It's all about Bill and his ego, it always has been.
