I think he's been well below average. But even if you believe he has been neither good nor bad, surely there comes a time when a change is beneficial. I feel like even the best people in roles have a lifespan in those positions. I don't understand how he still thinks he's helping the club by remaining in post. It really baffles me.
I think that's fair comment. Change has been needed for a while. I don't however think he is the devil unlike some people who have a proper unhealthy obsession with him.

I'm not even sure I know what I want that change to be though. I don't want to be some Saudi royalty play thing or an advertising arm of some oil magnate or anything like that. At the same time I don't want us to be dull as dishwater doing nothing of note every year. Sadly I don't think there is a way to be good without selling our souls. Then again we lost our soul last summer anyway...

See this is the issue here.

There is no "defending". There is a middle ground to be had. A bit of reason.

I can not abide hyperbole so I call it out when it happens. I said two failed moves was bad enough, that is defending him is it? Getting sniffy about WHP is pathetic and the act of someone with an agenda.

Its tedious.
Tedious is having to listen to the likes of you trying to kid yourself and us that kenwright has done even a half decent job I actually think now for you it’s just a hobby something that you’ve done for so long it’s just drilled into you, your not one his extras out of his panto are you ?

Yeah pursuing. We pursued and worked out that it was not feasible. It's nowhere near the same as the other 2, not even in the same ballpark.

In the end the women's team went there and we go to BMD.

I can pursue Jennifer Lawrence as a romantic partner, it doesn't mean I've got a cat in hell's chance. I'd just be utterly wasting my time doing so.

He's never had any plan whatsoever to make the club better than how he found it, all he did was hang around and wait for a lunatic with money to invest which did eventually happen. And yet he's still here despite that, waiting no doubt for a stand in BMD to be named after him.

Other than hiring Moyes (you have to give him that despite every else) Kenwright has done nothing for this club except drag us down and turn us into a laughing stock whilst losing a generation of supporters.

The change you should want is for us to go from a team that hasn’t won anything for nearly 3 decades to a team that wins somethin quite simple really , goin off your comments though it doesn’t sound like your bothered either way , what’s the point in supporting us then ?

Well worth your time. (edit, forgot the link)

A bit of history on the Peoples Group, Blue Union, etc.

Whatever the group is called, you don't have to fully align with them, but if you care about the club you have a duty to educate yourself of the facts and do something.

You don't have to paint a bed sheet if you don't want to.

You don't have to march if you don't want to.

But you should definitely correct people who try to tell you that Kenwright isn't a problem.

He's THE problem.

Just listened to whole of it and to be honest there is nothing in it that many of us didn't already know but it makes me extremely angry all the same.
How have we let this charleton destroy our club ?
Why has the local press who are supposed to represent the city and its people just been complicit in letting this cretin get away with it without ever questioning him?
If the club ever decide to name a stand after him there should be uproar and I for one will not be buying a ticket for a stand with his name on it.

We need to get Bill, the board and Moshiri out
Far, far easier said than done.

If Moshiri hasn't cleared out the board by now as we've slipped further and further back after wasting millions, it's unlikey he's going to do so anytime time soon. If ever.

As for getting Moshiri out, he owns 94% of the club. Until he decides he wants out or someone makes him a mega offer, he's going nowhere.

That's just the hard reality I'm afraid, and no amount of 27 minute boos or painting scrawled messages on tatty old bedsheets outside the ground is going to change that IMO.

It’s a disgrace mate

?

Well said.

As soon as some acknowledge the bold bit and just get behind the club and stop crying about something they can't change maybe just maybe they'll be happier people for it.

This is spot on, all the moaning and virtue signalling isnt going to do anything to help Everton, last season proved that, I just hope next season we as fans are behind the team from week one, not just turning up with a month or so left

Moshiri and Bill will only be going when either of them are ready, and its no time soon, we have to accept this and focus on the one thing we can do, support the players in a positive way
