Can’t wait to see his big saggy man tits and basset hound jowls hanging off the main stand later
Complete with B.Kenwright StandUnfortunately he's here until the stadium is done. Fairly certain that was one of the conditions of sale.
I can just see that if we somehow dodge the drop, he'll come out of hiding throwing himself in front of the cameras giving us endless embarrassing soundbites toasting in the 'success' of staying up.
I can just see that if we somehow dodge the drop, he'll come out of hiding throwing himself in front of the cameras again giving us endless embarrassing soundbites toasting in the 'success' of staying up.
He's the runaway leader in the 'Selling your cake for £££millions and still getting to eat it' stakes. As much as I think Kenwright shoulders a lot of blame for our predicament in my opinion, I think he has been a very astute operator with regard to preserving his status at the club. It's quite an achievement to remain on as Chairman after the club was sold.
He has his supporters and they have a right to their opinion too. He is like a politician clinging to office though. It's unseemly. The thing now is that it may become ugly as well. The scenes outside GP after the Villa game can't come off well, when it looks like people haranguing an elderly man. Take away all the justified anger and sheer frustration and that's what it looks like to the casual observer.
I imagine it's all linked to the stadium still, but I just can't understand why he wants to continue on anymore. Whatever legacy he had, I can't see our issues being resolved quickly enough for him to still be around if and when we get back on our feet.
It's over for him, and should have been over in 2016.
Could have had Sheik Mansour…..
This clown picked out Moshiri. The club is in a dire state!
Is it any surprise?
Mansour came forward, Staveley came forward…. None of the potential purchasers wanted him to remain so the “24/7 search” continued.
Moshiri is a disaster, but enabled by Kenwright obsession for keeping hold of his train set.
It’s absolutely no surprise that this once great club has been spiralling since his arrival on the board in 1989.
