I'm past the point of being angry at the thought of where Everton might be if Kenwright had agreed to sell the club and leave, like pretty much every other chair in sport or business history. Not angry, just sad and resigned. I've wasted way too much energy, from the Tesco stadium days to now, being angry at the way he's run the club. Now I'm just resigned and wondering if even relegation will rid the club of him.

I hope he will go if the worst happens. It will either be him giving us tears over the summer and vowing to fix it, or he will disappear from sight and leave others to pick up the pieces.

The sooner he leaves the better. He has been the common denominator for 30 years of stagnation followed by decline. Whatever happens with relegation, the day he does leave will be a good day.

I think I can handle the championship if it's a clean sweep at board level but I think, for the good of my health, I might have to give the club a swerve for a while if it's bill talking about how 'we, as a blue family, can all fix this', sat in his seat smugly smiling as we beat birmingham 1-0 as if to say, 'see, I told you there were good times.'
