You are aware Bill has been a director since 1989, so would have been a member of the board in 93/94 and 97/98. He is a skilled manipulator of relevance.
Rather have plucky little Everton then the one before him that twice avoided relegation on the last day and the one now that looks to be heading that way, yeah the plucky little Everton that had European football was awful.

When that happened I gave up on this club, I accepted we'd never be heavyweights like we once were. All we can hope for now is maybe winning a cup again at some point, but we'll never be champions or even contenders ever again. Half raised my hopes with Ancelotti but still didn't fully believe it.

People simply don't want to be a club that takes the steps to make those ambitions possible. Too many instesd want to sit in their arse with a pint and grumble because ths RS are winning instead forcing out the man who singulary more than anyone else destroyed any respect other people English football had for us. The day he's totally out of the picture will be one I celebrate heartily.
While I hate the RS with a passion, the whole we're not Kopites has to stop. For years up until Martinez our fans didn't stand up at away games, because it was Kopite behaviour. The refusal to do anything to improve the atmosphere, not waving flags or banners. I'm sorry a lot of our fans accept mediocrity and view fans who oppose this in a negative light. The protest at Goodison against Arsenal was a typical example of supporters who care about the club being abused and harrassed.

Exactly that.

Cries of 'Kopite behaviour' are often heard when protest is mooted.

We absolutely have the club we deserve for being so passive. It seems we should just be grateful to be Evertonians and accept what President Kim, sorry... Kenwright tells us.

Any Evertonian who puts his head above the parapet and calls him out publicly is a hero. I have seen people stand up at AGMs shaking like a shitting dog because they know he's about to humiliate them with a pithy dismissal to snickers from his arse sniffers nearby.

The lads behind the Blue Union secretly recording the interview was outstanding. He only granted them an audience because he assumed they were on the fence over him and his tales of yesteryear would turn them into disciples.

One would hope the 27 years campaign has the support of around 37'000 people at the last home game this season.

Support the team. Savage the board.

NSNO is a distant memory, dismantled by one man.

Spot on that mate - Kenwright OUT.

Although the #27 minute lads do not speak for me. They're largely a closed shop group of intellectual social media talking head Evertonians.

Them pulling stunts in private shown they think they're a cut above the average Evertonian.

We need to revive the Blue Union who were just average blokes who wanted the best for the club - get them behind Moshiri and remove the fool that is Kenwright.

Bring in a proper Chairman who can show Mosh Man how to correctly run the club.

Absentee owner, that in itself says a lot about Moshiri, Stan was right to keep him away from any Arsenals matters
Absentee owner. Does Moshiri have travel restrictions regarding Covid whish prevent him journeying to the UK too often? Genuine question as I do not know the answer.
More importantly though, Moshiri is an absent owner because he has full time commitments with his own job. This being the case, he has to rely on information and policy decisions made on behalf of the club in his absence.
The person making the decisions and directing the Club and the Board and informing Moshiri has to be the Chairman. That's right, Bill Kenwright.
Anybody who thinks for a nanosecond that this is not the case has no idea of Boardroom protocol, or indeed, the function of a Chairman.
Bill has a tight grasp of all Everton matters, and all with his loyal band of ex players at every level of the entire establishment, he has his 'spies' everywhere.
No take-over leaves a person in such seniority of a stagnating business without dire consequences.

Everton did, and 2022 is the result.

Whats this "get them behind Moshiri" rubbish? No Evertonian can seriously want that?

Honestly, it doesn't matter which group claims they get rid of him.

The board of directors and all the associated hangers on need removing.

Then the club needs steam cleaning and sterilising before competent people are appointed. (Also, not a given..... But a chimpanze would do no worse than what we currently have)

The amount of abuse Bill gets is nothing short of disgusting. He was a millionaire owner just when the Billionaire era started taking over. I didn't see many others, like mommys boy Granchester, opening their wallets/getting backers to dispose that horrible kopite Johnson. Regardless of who helped him, his appointment of a relatively unknown manager in Moyes can only be seen as a success.
The abuse he gets on certain matters are ridiculous like NTL, apparently he should have known they we going under, Gregg wanted to have us bent over a barrel with his proposal for the stadium and now he is getting abuse for Moshiri actions. How on earth that's Bill's fault is anybody guess. Moshiri is his own man and made terrible decision after terrible decision. It's also bills fault that Moshiri chose to let him stay on the board, again did Bill twist his arm
So in summary, you are saying that his two achievements during 33 years as a director are, 1) replacing Peter Johnson and 2) Appointing David Moyes.

Did I miss anything?

Standing up at away games is crap.

The 27 campaign wasn’t a closed shop. In fact it’s barely a thing at all now. Some people used it for there own gains and social media clout. Others had great intentions. Stop talking out your hoop.

Fair comment mate - although those who did treat it as some kind of Clique had pushed the average supporter away from their message.

Personally would like to see a new group founded by and large just normal blues - no social media names or YouTube/twitter stars.

Not really, because the constant getting up and down, because people had bevvied too much on the coach did my head in. Add to that the standing at away games improves the atmosphere as well, just look how good the atmosphere in the street end was against the RS when we stopped them winning the league.
