Bill Kenwright

Gossip circulating around social media that Mosh Man was/is in talks with Qatari investors who wanted a sweep at boardroom level, BK opposed this and has gotten that Yank group involved in talks who are happy to keep him as Chairman.

As I said he'll never let go of the club.
Other investors looking into the club were "unimpressed" by Bill Kenwright. Which led to Kenwright directly leaking things to the media

Virtually any investor coming into EFC will want board reform. MSP have stated they would want a board seat publicly. Non public it's undoubtedly they would want a change in personnel on the board

Any serious investor would given their track records. You don't hand out £100's millions in equity purchase and then stay a silent investor in a failing business. Everton Football Club is clearly that. It's losing money regularly and has had two relegation fights in as many years

Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale won't want to call it a 'failing business' but it certainly is under their watch

Bill literally owns like 3%. He has absolutely no say in who Moshiri brings in.
1.3%

The independent shareholders and EFCSA are around 4.6% combined. To call an EGM I'm led to believe you need 5% of share votes

Suspect that is why Kenwright is hanging on to the 1.3% to inhibit potential opposition within the shareholder base

It's clear Bill Kenwright has grossly disproportionate say relative to his shares in Everton Football Club

More chance of me being cast as the next Superman.
Yea perhaps but now would be a good time for him to go and take Sophie ellis baxter with him, they cant show up to matches after what has happened (protests) and new manager, possibly new investment, now is time Bill. Just do it.

I had the same thought the other day: he is our Doug Ellis.
He's more like Kim Philby - a long term mole intent on stifling and utimately strangling the club, whilst serenely disappearing eventually with his huge profits. Why did he stay and insist on being involved in transfer negotiations for so long? His one true love is Bill Kenwright Ltd.

Mate you know as well as we all do Kenwright can't oppose Qatari investors if that what Farhad wants, Farhad owns the club, it's his call.
If anything the Qatari investors would look at how badly Farhad has ran it and either walked away or offered to buy it cheap.

Give it time. It’s clear with a new manager in place, protests will be used as ammunition against the fans by club allies should results continue to be poor .

If relegation occurs those protesters will get the weight of the criticism .

In a self indulgent environment, accountability is rare.

Theoretically there is nothing Bill can do to stop Moshiri clearing out the boardroom and installing competent individuals but that hasnt stopped the appointments of Sharp, DBB and other lackeys.

That mail article has categorically proven he still runs much of the day to day
I've said this for months, Kenwright only exists still at Everton because Farhad keeps him there.
If Bill is a problem that's of Farhads making
