Don't care. Not bothered.
Other investors looking into the club were "unimpressed" by Bill Kenwright. Which led to Kenwright directly leaking things to the mediaGossip circulating around social media that Mosh Man was/is in talks with Qatari investors who wanted a sweep at boardroom level, BK opposed this and has gotten that Yank group involved in talks who are happy to keep him as Chairman.
As I said he'll never let go of the club.
Virtually any investor coming into EFC will want board reform. MSP have stated they would want a board seat publicly. Non public it's undoubtedly they would want a change in personnel on the board
Any serious investor would given their track records. You don't hand out £100's millions in equity purchase and then stay a silent investor in a failing business. Everton Football Club is clearly that. It's losing money regularly and has had two relegation fights in as many years
Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale won't want to call it a 'failing business' but it certainly is under their watch
1.3%Bill literally owns like 3%. He has absolutely no say in who Moshiri brings in.
The independent shareholders and EFCSA are around 4.6% combined. To call an EGM I'm led to believe you need 5% of share votes
Suspect that is why Kenwright is hanging on to the 1.3% to inhibit potential opposition within the shareholder base
It's clear Bill Kenwright has grossly disproportionate say relative to his shares in Everton Football Club
