Said this today to my dad. Bill is what mid 70s and apparently really ill. Now no one here wishes bad health on anyone. But that picture of bill in the derby sitting there bent over looking old and fragile. Sad to my dad today that picture is the perfect Visual representation of our club right now.
Spot on…although it could be said that visual representation has been the case for the club ever since he acquired the club

Can't see why anyone would put themselves through the (valid) criticism he receives on a weekly basis. No amount of money is worth your health suffering.

He looked very much as a 78 year old normally would look tbh. Not sure he is ill at all, not seriously anyway, otherwise he'd be at home.

I think he's in great shape for someone nearly 80 years of age. Bill Kenwright is in perfect health as far as I can see. Stop worrying. I hope he lives to be 100 and sees all the damage to the club he has done undone and we start winning trophies again after he has left EFC. Stay well, Bill. Look forward to see how much you become a bad memory.

Don't understand why he doesn't just retire. Moshiri has made him rich beyond his wildest dreams anyway, what does he gain from hanging around like a bad smell?

I know right. He's a millionaire many times over, in the twilight years of his life and getting (deserved) dogs abuse every time he turns up at the business he runs. Genuinely do not know how he sleeps at night for the damage he's done to the club, but more than that I cannot fathom why he doesn't just waltz off into the sunset and enjoy a king's lifestyle for the remaining 2, 5, 10 however many years he's got left to live.

I honestly have no idea why he sticks around. Could be ego, stupidity, emotion or all 3 and more. I really don’t want someone running the club, who says he loves the club blah blah. I want someone who won’t take mediocrity and be ruthless with underperforming departments. I would take a chairman or CEO, who says he or she hates football but is brilliant at the job and gets the club back in the right direction.
