Bill Kenwright

For those of us on here from Ireland, he has begun to remind me more of the former FAI chief executive who ran it like a personal fiefdom for nearly two decades. Tickets and grants used to curry favour, those who did not drink the koolaid driven out (and numerous out of court expensive settlements at organisations expense) but association finances used a personal piggy bank and left the organisation holllowed out and destitute.

He also had to stop attending home games towards the eventual end point.

It was only after he left that the full details emerged. Books have been written that detail it in all its ugly detail. I fear our equivalent and encumbent perhaps won’t leave as he can’t leave for his legacy will be ruined for these reasons. And his ego won’t have it.
i watched a thing about him he was payin his bird a wage and everythin wasn’t he !

Kenwright, for all his narcissistic faults, would have got that Gordon money spent, whereas Usmanov and his puppet have literally taken a managed decline stance to Everton that is likely to see us relegated.

Those players were not choosing Southampton and their unheard of Welsh manager over Everton, we just weren’t prepared to put any money up.

Just like he did with the Arteta and Rooney money

Good points.

I think we are being truly neglected by Usmanov though, much like Ellis Short when he finally decided to stop wasting money on Sunderland.

If we are relegated it comes under Usmanov's watch imo. It's far worse than anything encountered by Kenwright. Worse than the Kings Dock / Kirkby shambles. Awful owner!

If we get relegated it's nothing to do with Kenwright and everything to do with those who have overseen what's gone on over the last 7 years.
Moshiri and Usmanov

Nothing to do with him when we've been under decline under Kenwright years before them (albeit was rescued by Moyes' good work) and he was the obe who elected these lot. It's totally Kenwright's fault. You think if you keep repeating and spouting nonsense people are going to believe it. Idiot. Our decline occured before Moshiri and co came in and he still plays an active part in our destruction. Great job he did bringing in decent investors.

February 2016 Moshiri came to Everton, since then we have come
11th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 10th, 16th, 18th

Bills final seasons were
5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 11th

Between 2005 and 2014 only once did we find ourselves outside the top 8 .... but yeah we declined under Bill....

It's all conjecture. Personally I don't believe it's neglect but rather being hamstrung by the sanctions as well as the premier league profit rules. But we don't really know the truth. Moshiri has been a disaster there's no questioning that, but Kenwright has been Chairman during that whole time and it has been proven already that he still has huge influence over how the club is run.

Which proves the point we didnt decline under him, we got better, thanks for brining them up
In his first 7 seasons, we had 2 top half finishes.

Had 3 top half finishes since Mosh took over.

So why you are saying is, we should give mosh more time?

Also interesting that you use this season which isn’t completed and ignore one of the seasons we came 8th.
